We are in the Xia Dynasty. My name is Polo. I have to go on the quest to find silk on the Silk Road. I was the chosen one because I am one of the only decentness of Marco Polo. I have my store and I will run out of silk if I don't go to this quest.

I have started my quest at Chang'an. It is the summer, it is really hot. It is not hard to travel. It had a lot of mountains and rivers. I have seen some of the terra cotta soldiers. I passed the Daming Palace. I had to trade my silk quickly and leave because I don't want to come across a guard. I also don't want to stay overnight. I have to leave before sun goes down. I did go to the western and the eastern market. They both had silk there. The eastern market was easier to trade because it was calm. The western was harder because it had more people and it was noisy. After I did my buissnce I had time to go to the bell tour. They had a lot of music there.

We have stop at Kashgar. It is dark we have to set up our tents.

It is early in the morning. I see people from all over. I have a good felling I going to get a lot of fine silk. It is hot here because we are close to a desert. We have to trade a lot of money toget some silk. It turns out the lady was really nice and gaves a bargane for the silk. I walked away with enough for months. My family is going to be so happy.

We had to stay the night 3/4 way to Samarkand. We had to lay in our tents they were not that big. We have an enough food and water. The ground is not that comfortable. I will be home soon. We have to head to Samarkand next.

We have made it to Samarkand. It is beautiful here. It has gardens and a palace. They say it also has great silk will trade here in. We have to pay extra here. We didn't get as much silk as I would have liked. I am running down on money. That is why I didn't want to use all my money here. We have one more stop. Then we turn around and go home.

We have stopped Yerevan. To stay the night/ We have been walking all day it is dark. Our next and final stop is Istanbul. After that we will just turn around and go home. I really have enjoyed this quest. I hope I can do this again.
